Brett Crossley, Commerce Undergrad at Monash University
Brett is a current student at Monash University, studying his first year in Bachelor of Commerce.
Throughout his high school career, we worked together on his maths problems which provide a good foundation for Brett to successfully maintain a good score, leading to his further education at Monash University.
"LG has a different approach in conducting his classes. He taught me a lot of maths concepts using various analogies. For example, I remember once we played table tennis at his house while he was trying to teach me concepts of Projectile Motion. I miss our Saturday/Sunday banter with me trying to pass Maths. Haha"
Hayley Van de Glind, Logistics Consultant at SA University
Hayley is undertaking the Unit of Supply Chain Modelling, which involves Linear Programming. When Hayley first started her Masters in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, she faced difficulties in solving Algebra Inequalities...
"It is just another language to me and I need someone to break it down and explain it in plain English to me."
Hayley is doing an online course with her master and am currently living in Switzerland. We communicate via Skype.
Jonathan Dacomb, Civil Engineering Undergrad at RMIT University
“Patient and diligent. I am truck driver and he managed to teach a truck driver calculus…”
Alexander Wright, Musician, Berklee College of Music in America
Alexander is a musician, writer, photographer, and creative hailing from Melbourne.
He is currently applying for Berklee College of Music in America. Alex came to me for help in preparing his application and improving his mathematics in particular.
In order to apply to Berklee, Alex needed to pass a series of tests indicating college readiness. Alex scored 92% on maths in August, with an average score of 96% across five modules, completing his pre-application tests for university.
"Lian's help was invaluable in getting my academics up to scratch after not studying for a few years. He deserves a lot of the credit for the scores I achieved. Thanks mate!"
Chism Long, Electrical Supervisor, University of Southern Queensland.
Chism is a current undergraduate at University of Southern Queensland. He enrolled into an online course, specialising a double degree in Engineering and Commerce .
In semester two this year, we collaborated on an electrical unit called Control Systems, solving problems ranging from finding Differential Equations, Root Locus, Bode Plots, Routh-Hurwitz and etc.
"L.G has supported me with my university studies over the past 2-3 semesters, tremendously improving my grades in this time. L.G is a great tutor and a study partner, especially for students enrolled in online Bachelor Degree's like my. I have achieved many high distinctions in my subjects as a result of L.G's tutoring with his high level of understanding of a range of subjects and teaching abilities. I would recommend his tutoring services to people who may be struggling in their studies, or those who are just looking to go that extra step further."
In 2014, I have also assisted Chism in Year 1 and Year 2 Engineering Mathematics.
